Privacy notice

How Eduthropy Impact Technologies Ltd handles personal data when you visit this site or use the platform. Last updated 12 August 2026.

Who we are

Eduthropy is operated by Eduthropy Impact Technologies Ltd. Where we decide how and why personal data is processed, for example account and billing data, we act as the controller. Where your organisation puts its own records into a workspace, that organisation is the controller and we act as its processor.

Data we collect

  • Account data. Name, email address, organisation name and role.
  • Workspace content. The records your organisation enters, people, budgets, donors, customers, documents and related files.
  • Technical data. Log records such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, kept for security and troubleshooting.
  • Correspondence. Messages you send us about support or sales.

How we use it

  • To provide the platform and the features you enable.
  • To authenticate users and enforce workspace access rules.
  • To send service messages such as invitations, approvals and notifications.
  • To keep the service secure, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions, and with providers you connect yourself.

  • Hosting, database and file storage for the platform.
  • Transactional email delivery for invitations and notifications.
  • Integrations you configure with your own credentials, payment, messaging, calendar, AI or accounting providers. Those providers process data under your agreement with them, and their charges are billed to your account.

Retention

Workspace content is retained while the workspace is active and for a limited wind-down period afterwards so that data can be exported. Account and billing records are kept for as long as required by law. You can request earlier deletion, subject to records we must keep.

Your rights

Subject to local law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at hello@eduthropy.com. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your data protection authority. Where your data sits in a workspace controlled by your organisation, please raise the request with them first.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, with those providers.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice as the platform changes. Material changes will be signalled in the product or by email, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
